Biography

Steve Lovejoy is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with the Oregon Department of Transportation. He is responsible for the mechanical design and operation of all of the movable bridges in the state. He also serves as the Department's chief welding engineer and is the Department's specialist in fatigue and fracture. Mr. Lovejoy joined ODOT in 1992 after three years as an engineering analyst in the Nuclear Explosive Engineering Division at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Mr. Lovejoy received his BSME in 1987 and MSME in 1989, both from OSU.
